PRIVACY
How we handle your information.
IFE Works is designed to collect only the information needed to operate this website securely and respond to enquiries.
Controller and contact
The data controller for this website is Andreas Stamelakis, who operates IFE Works from Greece. For any privacy request, email info@ifeworks.com.
Website visits
We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, behavioural profiling or non-essential marketing cookies. Our hosting and security provider may process limited technical data, including IP address, device and browser details, requested URLs, security signals and timestamps, to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the website.
AI assistant
If you use the website assistant, your question and up to three earlier questions from the same conversation are sent to Google through the Gemini API to generate a response. The IFE Works application does not store chat messages in a database, cookie or analytics service; the current conversation remains only in the page memory until you leave or reload it. Google retains prompts, contextual information and generated responses for up to 55 days for abuse monitoring and any required legal or regulatory disclosures. Under the terms applicable to Paid Services, this data is not used to train or improve Google’s general-purpose AI models. To limit abuse, the application derives a temporary pseudonymous identifier from the requesting IP address. It is used only in volatile server memory for short-term request limiting and is not written to a database. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing general information and protecting the service. Do not submit personal, confidential, commercially sensitive or special-category personal data. AI responses may be incomplete or inaccurate and do not constitute professional advice or a binding offer.
Email enquiries
If you email us, we process your email address, message, attachments and related correspondence to respond, assess a potential engagement and retain necessary business records. Our legal bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and protecting our services, and compliance with legal obligations where applicable.
Recipients and international transfers
We use service providers for hosting, security, AI processing and email. They process data only for the relevant service purposes and under their applicable data-protection terms. We do not sell or rent personal data. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, where required.
Retention
Technical logs follow the providers’ limited operational retention schedules. IFE Works does not retain a server-side chat history; provider safety and operational logs follow the provider’s applicable retention terms. Email correspondence is kept only for as long as needed to answer the enquiry, assess or manage a potential engagement, meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Your rights
Under applicable data-protection law, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive a copy of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. To exercise a right, email info@ifeworks.com. We may need to verify your identity.
Customer systems and automated decisions
The public website and its assistant do not contain or connect to customer systems, customer records or governed file stores. The assistant does not make decisions about visitors or customers. Do not provide business data through the assistant or email until an appropriate secure channel has been agreed.
Right to complain
You may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority or with the supervisory authority where you live or work. dpa.gr
